At MU&E, our utility division is focused on providing clients with excellent service. We provide accurate preliminary pricing and work with the owner/engineer to develop cost effective solutions and designs that will work for the client for the long term. We spend extra time up front on projects to avoid costly problems and time delays during the installation.
The utility business is always changing, and at MU&E we are a leader in requesting and getting governmental approval of these changes. We often get project and city specifications changed to lower owners' costs and provide long term durability. We are also proactive in the industry working as experts in safety legislation and government affairs. We believe that changes to the industry are a necessity and we intend to push our legislators for these changes.
Our utility division is managed by Charlie Wilson. Charlie has over 19 years experience in the construction industry. He served as president of MUCA (Minnesota Utility Contractors Association) in 2005 and prior to that has served on the MUCA board of directors.
Charlie has bid and managed projects of all sizes in several states across the nation. He has experience with municipal, residential, commercial, and environmental piping.
The combination of MU&E's utility and earthwork crews on any project creates value back to the client in actual dollars saved and the ease of coordinating the work.
